If Kell Brook (32-0, 22KOs) manages to get IBF welterweight champion Shawn Porter (24-0-1, 15KOs) in trouble, he's very confident that he will finish him off. Porter defends his title against Brook in the main event of a Showtime televised tripleheader on August 16th from the StubHub Center in Carson, California.

Brook's promoter, Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport, is banking on a late knockout win. Brook is confident about victory but won't go as far as to predict a stoppage. However, Brook warns that if he lands a flush right hand - he will close the show in very same round. Brook has stopped his last four opponents in eight rounds or less.

"I'm excited, the future is bright and all I have to do is perform next Saturday. I always rise to the occasion. The better the opponent the better I am. I think we are going to see the best of me ever. I think he is going to bring out the best out of Kell Brook. I'm excited to see how I perform in them bright lights," Brook told BoxingScene.com.

"When I come into the fight....if I find an opening and hurt you - I'm going to finish you. That's how it is. I'm a heavy-handed kid. If he walks onto that chocolate brownie right hand, he's going to know about it."
Well I hope get to see what we want :) I agree, mostly because he was and is a more marketable fighter within UK. However if there is any reason why Brook is behind it has to do with management. They held him back far too long I suppose. So much talent and skill.
...
Okay, so his equilibrium was effected due to a temple shot. Does that appeal to you?
Im not saying he has a good chin or not but being hurt by a temple shot has nothing to do with chin. ANYBODY can be hurt by one of those.
Spot on Bughuul! I'd love to see Khan fight Brook, especially for a belt. Khan's got some great tools but his "Achilles Chin" and off-balance footwork in later rounds favour Brook winning by a solid KO. I can understand why Brook wants Khan's scalp so badly. Khan's career was given s...
