Brook: Fans Need Me, Hatton, Khan To Fight Each Other

Kell Brook expects to be in the shape of his life for this month's fight with Hector Saldivia after radically changing his diet. Brook admits he struggled to make weight for his last clash against Carson Jones and was forced to dig deep for a decision win after fading in the second-half of the bout.

The Sheffield fighter has since brought in a nutritionist and strength and conditioner to help him prepare for the IBF welterweight title final eliminator against Argentinian Saldivia on the 20th of October, live on Sky Sports.

He is already feeling the benefits of his all-new lifestyle and expects to produce a livewire display in front of his hometown fans at the Motorpoint Arena.

"I've done my own diets since being amateur all the way through my career and I think it showed in this fight that I didn't really know what I'm doing when it comes down to nutrition," he told Sky Sports News HD.

"Normally boxers have porridge in the morning, for me I'm having fillet steak and broccoli. I'm having weird combinations and meals. I'm full of energy when I'm in the gym and I'm the best that I've ever felt for a fight. I've proven to myself that I've got a big heart to go through such a thing. Doing the weight terribly wrong, for me to get through that has completely boosted me," he said. I can go out 100mph and I can keep that up if necessary."

Ricky Hatton has revealed he would be interested in facing Brook and Amir Khan after announcing his comeback and 'Special K' believes the British rivals must fight each other in the future.

"The fans need to see all of us fight, me, Ricky Hatton and Amir. Put it on in a big stadium and do a mega event for the fans in Britain," he said.

as for kell brook; he needs a belt and he needs to mix it up with a higher calibre of fighters. [/QUOTE] If the competition gets any better, Brooks may lose. He struggled with Carson, but now he's been eating…

lost a bit of respect for brook. he has just turned down a world title shot against bradley to fight in an eliminator when he was already wbo number 1. stuttering when khan told him he has basically fought bums.…

Brook should take care of business against Saldivia and than fight someone like Aydin or Zaveck in March or so next year. Than, go for some bigger things at 147. Maybe Khan will fight him then.

Brook has a lot to prove IMO. The other two have paid their dues. Brook doesn't deserve the big payday yet. His biggest win is Carson Jones.

I agree. These guys sell like crazy in England. I'd like to see Hatton beat Senchenko and than go after Paulie's title next Spring. I'd like to see Khan and Brook fight late Spring possibly. The winner could then fight…
