Broner vs DeMarco Possible For November 3, Says Shaw

By Rick Reeno

If the money is right - we might have a fight. According to promoter Gary Shaw, WBC lightweight champion Antonio DeMarco (28-2-1, 21KOs) is more than willing to fight Adrien Broner (24-0, 20KOs) - if the money is right.

On Saturday night at the Oracle Arena in Oakland - DeMarco stopped John Molina in 44 seconds of the first round.

Broner was watching from ringside and HBO is very interested in making that fight happen. Broner is scheduled to make his HBO return on November 3rd.

"It's a discussion that I had with HBO this morning. I told them that DeMarco would fight anybody at 135-pounds, including Broner, but they have to make the money right. This is a kid who ate out of the garbage [when he was younger] and now he wants to buy a home for his family," Shaw said.

"If the money is going to be thrown around to unfriendly fan fighters, it's about time that they recognized that DeMarco is a fan friendly fighter and took care of him. The short answer, we'll fight him if the money is right. I honestly believe, and the team believes, that he has the style to beat Broner."

Lol @ people saying Broner is gonna KO Demarco. Really? No, Demarco is Mexican, which means he's tough as nails. He will give Broner all kinds of problems and I think he'll beat him.
Demarco isn't a powerful puncher. I'm starting to think ppl in this thread don't know what type of fighter demarco is. He's a boxer. Broner will be the aggressor in this fight. Because that's just how demarco fights. Calling demarco…

Some big calls going in on this thread on both sides especially the stopping Demarco before sure Adrien has stopped 20 off his 24 opponents but none have been unbelievably tough fighters and Demarco is tough and Adrien wont enjoy…
Make it happen. Broner wins this fight.
Agree, Borner takes this fight. I think he'll start having problems above 140. But this weight is perfect for him and Demarco is physically smaller and not as quick as Broner. Broner beats…
