Promoter Gary Shaw, and Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer, have confirmed to BoxingScene.com that there are serious ongoing discussions for a lightweight fight between WBC champion Antonio DeMarco, and undefeated contender Adrien Broner, for November 17th at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. HBO will televise.

Broner (24-0, 20KOs) is already on board and ready to go, says Schaefer. Shaw is still working out the details with DeMarco (28-2-1, 21KOs) and HBO, but hopes to reach an ageement for the fight.

DeMarco fought on September 8th at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, stopping John Molina in 44 seconds of the first round. In his most recent ring appearance, Broner dominated and stopped Vicente Escobedo in the fifth round on July 21 at the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio.
