Broner vs. Burns in The Mix For February Showdown

By Mike Coppinger has been advised by sources that WBC lightweight champion Adrien Broner (25-0, 21KOs) will likely fight Ricky Burns (35-2, 10KOs), the WBO's champion, in February on HBO, should Burns be available after his fight on Dec. 15 against Jose Ocampo (17-5-1, 12KOs) in London.

Broner moved up to 135 pounds in November with a dominant stoppage victory over Antonio DeMarco.
