A few days ago, Floyd Mayweather Jr. floated the idea of having Amir Khan fight Adrien Broner on his upcoming Showtime Pay-Per-View undercard. Mayweather faces Marcos Maidana in a welterweight unification on May 3rd from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Mayweather promised Khan a future fight - if Khan defeats Broner. Khan is skeptical of the promise, but Broner feels the Britsh star is easy work.

"Khan ain't sh*t! I'm ready to beat the f*** out of Amir Khan," Broner stated on the social networks.

Khan had hoped to face Mayweather in May, but the pound-for-pound king felt Maidana was the more deserving fighter.
So why did it get fight of the year and why was maidana the one who hit the canvas, via a bodyshot. You have to be in range to land a bodyshot, hardly seems like someone running around the ring.
Check out the fight again. Yes, Khan dropped Maidana in the first round wi...
