What´s next for WBA interim-super middleweight champ Brian Magee? Sauerland Event have plans to have Magee defend his portion of the title against Danish boxer Rudy Markussen. This is exactly what semi-retired Hall of Fame promoter Mogens Palle has in mind, and he claims to have options on Magee, and it appears to be a fact that Markussen owes Palle a lot of money. More to come.

Newfel Outah and Cyril Leonet again clash for the French heavyweight title on December 17 in Vaulx en Velin. Outah won their first encounter late last year.

EU cruiserweight champ Juho Haapoja, the other ticketseller in Finnish boxing besides Robert Helenius, defends the title at home on January 21 in Seinajoki against undefeated Irishman Ian Tims. It´s a voluntary defense by the Finn, who´s been training in London under the respected C J Hussein.

WBO European light heavyweight ruler Robin Krasniqi takes on Frenchman Hakim Zoulikhaon January 7 in Magdeburg. Krasniqi isn´t bad and not as good as his somewhat inflated 36-2 record. Heavyweight Francesco Pianeta is also on the bill that is promoted by SES.

The ban on professional boxing in Norway will remain reports Norwegian paper VG. The ruling Arbeiderpartiet remains in the view that boxing is too dangerous. The only hope now is that the new AIBA rules in amateur boxing will open some doors.
