Junior middleweight prospect Brian Castano (3-0, 2KOs), who made his pro debut last September, is being scouted by Top Rank - according to trainer Miguel Diaz. The 23-year-old boxer returns to action on May 11th in Argentina.
Diaz told BoxingScene.com's Carlos Irusta that Castano, who had nearly 200 amateur fights, has what it takes to go a long way in the sport. Castano is the captian of Argentina's team in the World Series of Boxing competition.
"Brian Castano is a target of Top Rank. Hopefully I'll have some news soon. Castano is a very good fighter. He has a tremendous future - handsome, fast and Top Rank is following him," Diaz said.
