Heavyweight kingpin Wladimir Klitschko (63-3) last tasted defeat 10 years ago when Lamon Brewster stopped him in 4 rounds.  Klitschko has been on a roll ever since that loss.  The defeat prompted him to begin working with Emmanuel Steward and the two quickly hit off.  He stayed with the legendary trainer until his death in 2012 and has since been working with Steward's protege Jonathan Banks.

Even though Klitschko will turn 39 in less than three months, Brewster feels that the 6'6" Ukrainian will stay on top for the foreseeable future. He believes that Klitschko's current style that was molded under Steward has kept him well preserved.

"He changed his style because he fights smarter and not harder under Emmanuel Steward.  He did the same thing with him that he did with Lennox Lewis.  He educated him on the importance of using a jab but not just any jab, the half jab. From the elbow to the fist versus the whole shoulder and if you can learn to get past that, then you still have his height and movement.  That is why I say there are steps to beating Wladimir.  It isn't easy but he is beatable.  Everyone is beatable," said Brewster while pointing out that Wladimir hasn't taken many flush shots in recent years.

"Well because he hasn't been in any wars and his body hasn't taken any physical damage - his last hard fight I think was against Samuel Peters, I think that he can go, honestly, another 5-7 years unless somebody comes along," Brewster told BoxingScene.com.
