Braehmer Signs Long Term Agreement With Sauerland

By Ruslan Chikov

Former WBO light heavyweight champion Jürgen Braehmer (38-2, 30KOs) has signed a long-term agreement with Sauerland Event. Braehmer was under contract from 1999 to 2011 with Sauerland's promotional rival, Universum. Braehmer will make his Sauerland debut in October or November. Braehmer might be placed in position for a title shot by mid-2013.

"It is necessary for Jurgen to fight for the title as soon as possible. I am positive that he will be our next champion," said Kalle Sauerland.

Agreed. Bad investment. Braehmer is always backing out.
