Bradley's Manager Furious Over Bob Arum Scoring Claim

By Rick Reeno

MGM Grand, Las Vegas - The crowded arena, and most of the writers on press row, were shocked when Timothy Bradley (29-0, 12KOs) was awarded a close twelve round split decision over Manny Pacquiao (54-4-2, 38KOs) to capture the WBO welterweight title. The scores were 115-113 for Pacquiao, and two cards of 115-113 for Bradley.

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, who promotes both boxers, was very upset with the scoring of the fight. He felt Pacquiao was the clear winner by a wide margin. Arum stated to reporters that even Bradley's manager, Cameron Dunkin, had scored the fight for Pacquiao by an eight to four ratio [116-112].

Dunkin erupted with fury when he was informed of the circulating reports that claimed he scored the fight in favor of Pacquiao.

"I never said anything like that. It's total bullsh*t. The guy called me Cameron f***king Diaz [at the final press conference]. The guy is a f***ing idiot. For him to say that I said [Pacquiao] won eight to four is the most ridiculous thing. Why he would say that I have no idea. He asked me how I had it and I said  'I had it close.' [Top Rank matchmaker] Brad Goodman sat with me and I had my guy winning the last five rounds. I had it seven to five for my guy," Dunkin told BoxingScene.com.
