Undefeated Timothy Bradley appeared on WLIE radio in New York and discussed last year's confrontation with Amir Khan. The two fighters engaged in a well documented war of words in 2011. Bradley passed on a deal to face Khan last summer. Instead he signed with Top Rank and now he's scheduled to challenge WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (54-3-2, 38KOs) on June 9th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Last November, following Bradley's weigh-in for the fight with Joel Casamayor on the Pacquiao-Juan Manuel Marquez undercard at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas - there was a brief confrontation with Khan.

"Amir is blowing all out of proportion. Amir is blowing it all out of whack. Amir is trying to make himself look like he's a big man. After my weigh-in, it was at the Pacquiao-Marquez fight. After the weigh-in, I got off the stage and I saw Amir standing right there. I looked at him and I gave him a dirty look. And then he said something under his breath. I barely heard [him]. I said 'did he just say what I thought he said?' [He said] 'you need to grow some balls' under his breath," Bradley said.

"It wasn't like he was flat out [screaming] 'you need to grow some balls Bradley and come out and fight me.' It wasn't like he was trying to be a man and trying to step to me. He was being more like a little kid saying 'grow some balls' underneath his breath. And I'm like 'do I slap this guy right now and make a fool of myself or do I just walk away and be a good sport. Just be a good sport and not embarrass all of my people here and embarrass Top Rank. I'm not here for Amir Khan right now.' And I told him that 'every dog has his day and you will have your shot.' That’s what I told him. When that day does happen, I'm just letting everybody know that I'm taking that guy out."
