At the post fight press conference following Tim Bradley's split decision victory over Manny Pacquiao, promoter Bob Arum said that he would look to stage a rematch on November 10th, likely at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Bradley suffered injuries to both of his feet in the victory. On the latest edition of The Boxing Lab, BoxingsSene's official audio show, Bradley told us that he hopes to be healed in time to fight on that date.
"I hope I will be ready but I take it day by day. I eat right and I think that I will be ready but its still questionable right now," Bradley revealed.
The Palm Springs, CA native also discussed the extent of his injuries and revealed that his left foot will require a cast.
"I have a serious sprain on my right foot. Almost anyone with a sprain like that would of quit (the fight). My left one is worse. I have a splint on it and I am going to get a cast put on Monday."
While Bradley is hopeful of facing Pacquiao again he won't lose any sleep if it doesn't happen. He knows that his victory over Pacquiao will open a lot of doors for him.
"If he does want it (a rematch) I am all for it. If he wants to fight Floyd instead that is fine. At the end of the day I am 29-0 and have a win over Manny Pacquiao and nobody can take that away from me," Bradley summarized.
