Boytsov, Haye, Mitchell in Line For Klitschko Title Shot

By Ruslan Chikov

Undefeated Denis Boytsov (31-0, 25KOs) is the number one ranked contender, under the WBO, to champion Wladimir Klitschko. The rank by Boytsov does not necessarily mean the boxer will receive a mandatory shot at Klitschko, according to the World Boxing Organization.

The organization has yet to make a decision on Wladimir's next mandatory challenger. They indicate that Boytsov, number two ranked Seth Mitchell (25-0-1, 19KOs) and number three ranked David Haye (26-2, 24KOs) - are all under consideration. Wladimir makes a voluntary defense against number fifteen ranked Mariusz Wach on November 10th in Hamburg, Germany.

The WBO was informed that Boytsov is healthy and ready to fight Wladimir as soon as possible.
They should have a Boytsov vs. Mitchell final WBO eliminator.
Agreed. The WBO consider making Haye a mandatory?

It should be Boytsov vs. Helenius, and after Helenius demolishes Boytsov we should see Helenius vs. Wladimir..Mitchell is crap, Haye has toe-problems.. Only question is, has Helenius' hand/shoulder fully recovered.

Mitchell isn't ready for Wlad. Quite frankly, no HW is ready. If Haye came to fight, we might see something. But that's doubtful.

If Mitchell beats wlads best friend banks then I see HBO setting that fight up but there is always the chance of the large payday return with haye. Boytsov brings nothing to the table & has a crap promoter so…
