Boytsov, Chakhkiev To Fight in Moscow on August 24?

According to the Hamburger Abendblatt, two well-known and highly regarded Russian prospects, who are competing under the aegis of Universum Box-Promotion, will celebrate a homecomings for the first time in their respective careers on August 24 in Moscow, Russia.

The newspaper reports that the chosen duo of undefeated heavyweight prospect Denis Boytsov (31-0, 25 KOs) and cruiserweight power hitter Rakhim Chakhkiev (14-0, 11 KOs) will headline a night of boxing, promoted by Universum for the first time in Russia.

Boytsov, 26, is rated #2 by the WBC and WBO, #4 by the WBA and #5 by the IBF. He has been fighting in paid ranks for almost eight years. His fellow compatriot Chakhkiev, 29, ranked #6 by the WBC and #10 by the WBO at cruiserweight, is 2008 Beijing heavyweight gold medalist. He has already gained some notoriety as a prizefighter after stoppage wins over rock-solid journeymen Zack Page and Michael Simms. He is definitely a fight to look after.
