This past weekend at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, two-time Olympic gold medal winner Vasyl Lomachenko (5-1, 3KOs) had no problems in defending his WBO featherweight title by halting the overmatched Romulo Koasicha in ten rounds.

So where does the talented Lomachenko go from here?

His promoter, Bob Arum of Top Rank, told BoxingScene.com:

"At '26 I look for him to fight (Guillermo) Rigondeaux, which we're trying to put together and then (Nonito) Donaire wants a crack at him. Then if Orlando Salido wins against (Rocky) Martinez (at 130) we have a revenge match and there's also Nicholas Walters."

Salido has already faced Lomachenko, beating him in his second pro bout in a split decision over 12 rounds that was tainted by the fact that the Mexican lost his title at the scales for not making 126-pounds. 'Siri' has since moved up to junior lightweight.

Walters, recently held the WBA featherweight belt but then lost his belt for not making weight prior to his June bout against Miguel Marriaga.

As for Rigondeaux - who was once promoted by Top Rank - the question is can a deal be reached with Caribe Promotions?

"Yeah," claimed Arum, who says that Top Rank's president, Todd duBoef, is dealing with them.

"We're working on it, they'll come around."
