Earlier today BoxingScene.com caught up with Top Rank CEO Bob Arum to get an update on some of the fighters in his stable.

On July 19th, 23-year-old super middleweight prospect Gilberto Ramirez (29-0) stopped Junior Talipeau in 1 round in Macau, China on Zou Shiming's latest undercard. Arum feels that the 6'3" Mexican is a superstar in the making.

"I really think the sky is the limit for him. I think in the next couple of years he is going to make a mark as one of the best fighters around," said Arum.

We also spoke about Argentine welterweight Luis Carlos Abregu (36-1) who returned from a year layoff in April to stop Jean Carlos Prada in 8 rounds.

"Abregu will be on Manny's card in Macau," said Arum, referring to Pacquiao's November 22nd pay-per-view fight against Chris Algieri.

Arum also said that he has had discussions with HBO in regards to having a tournament to match his deep stable of featherweights. His stable includes WBO champion Vasyl Lomachenko, WBA champion Nonito Donaire, WBA regular champion Nicholas Walters, and IBF champion Evgeny Gradovich.

"We have some great featherweights who want at each other and we have talked to HBO about mixing and matching them," Arum told BoxingScene.com.
