BJ Flores Inks With Don King, Eyes Guillermo Jones

BoxingScene.com has been advised that cruiserweight contender BJ Flores has inked a promotional deal with Don King Productions.

Flores, who is coming off a knockout win over Nick Iannuzzi, is scheduled to return to the ring on October 15th at the O'Reilly Center in Springfield, MO.

After the October fight, Flores told BoxingScene that he has his sights set on a showdown with WBA super cruiserweight champion Guillermo Jones of Panama. Jones is also promoted by Don King.

Flores said another option is a fight for the WBA interm-cruiserweight title on a Don King promoted show that is going to take place in Macau, China next February.

Great career move, BJ! DKP has done a great job of keeping cruiserweights like Guillermo Jones and Ryan Coyne busy with meaningful fights, and before them Steve Cunningham and Wayne Braithwaire prospered under the Don's promotional banner. I am sure…
