Former WBC super middleweight champion Sakio Bika (32-6-3, 21 KOs) is promising to make a big stamen when he makes his light heavyweight debut on Saturday night against heavily favored WBC champion Adonis Stevenson (25-1, 21 KOs) in the Premier Boxing Champions [PBC] headliner from the Pepsi Coliseum in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada.

Bika was derailed in his rematch with unbeaten Anthony Dirrell last year. Dirrell won a twelve round decision and Bika's title. The Cameroon slugger feels better since moving up to 175-pounds. He is the most experienced opponent to step in the ring with Stevenson.

Stevenson loves to get knockouts, but Bika has never been knocked out and has no intention of going down this weekend. Like the champion, Bika is looking for a knockout and plans to test the champion's chin.

“To beat a great fighter you have to be your best.  I’m looking to take the WBC title back home. I’ve fought everyone – I’ve never ducked an opponent – and I don’t know if he can handle the pressure. I feel more comfortable at 175 pounds.  I want to test the big boy [Stevenson] and I feel like I can do that.  On Saturday we'll see," Bika said.

"He's knocked people out, but I've never been knocked out.  On Saturday I'll be the one to knock him out. I'm very hungry to get a world title back.  I trained very hard at light heavyweight to get a title back. I didn't come here to Canada just to walk and look around.  I came here to take this belt back home and I'm very confident I'm going to do that. Training camp went very well, we put in good work and now we're here in Canada ready to shock the world."
