IBF light heavyweight champion Bernard Hopkins told Sky Sports that he wants Carl Froch to beat Mikkel Kessler in their rematch this Saturday night in London. Hopkins would like to fight Froch if he wins, but first the 48-year-old champion must retain his title on July 13th against mandatory challenger Karo Murat at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

"I like Froch," he told Sky Sports' podcast, Toe-2-Toe. "He has the experience of not just the first fight between them but also the tournament (Super Six) he went through. I see Kessler has not been too active and I don't see that he has got better over the last two or three fights or even two or three years, so I am going for Froch. I think it is going to be an exciting fight but I think he is going to win - and precisely. I don't think this is going to be close either. He's going to win by at least eight rounds out of the 12."
