Beltran Wants Rigondeaux vs. Mijares After Marroquin

By Jose Luis Camarillo, notifight.com

Promoter Fernando Beltran of Zanfer Promotions wants to match former multi-division cristian Mijares (46-6-2, 21KOs) against WBA super bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux (10-0, 8KOs).

Rigondeaux defends his title against Roberto Marroquin (22-1, 15KOs) on September 15th at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, as part of the Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.-Sergio Martinez HBO pay-per-view.

Provided Rigondeaux wins, Beltran will approach Top Rank about making the fight with Mijares.
