Beltran Stoked That DeMarco Getting Vargas on 11/22

By Salvador Rodriguez

Promoter Fernando Beltran of Zanfer Promotions is very pleased that he reached an agreement with Bob Arum of Top Rank, for Antonio DeMarco (31-3-1, 23KOs) of Mexico will challenge Jessie Vargas (25-0, 9KOs) for the "regular" super lightweight title of the World Boxing Association on the 22nd of November.

The fight is going to be part of the HBO Pay-Per-View undercard to Manny Pacquiao's defense of the WBO welterweight title against unbeaten Chris Algieri.

"I think life is opportunity. DeMarco has always wanted this. He is one of the best fighters currently in Mexico and now he has his chance," said Beltran, director of Zanfer Promotions.

Beltran also said David "Tornado" Sanchez (26-2-2, 20KOs) will likely defend his WBA interim-super flyweight title on the card against a Thai opponent.

Good fight, who else is on the undercard. Demarco is never in a boring fight

DeMarco by KO! Vargas gets beat up. Tony may have gotten beaten up by Broner but he gets more respect on the street than Broner that's for sure.

Great fight, looking forward to it.

Good to see Adrien Broner's son getting a title shot.
is demarco still with freddie roach?
Yes. He couldn't make it to DeMarcos last fight but he'll definitely be in his corner for this one.
