Fernando Beltran, President of Zanfer Promotions and promoter of Juan Manuel Marquez (55-6-1, 40KOs), would like to make the Mexican superstar's return as big as possible. If Beltran has his wish, he would like Marquez to headline an April event at Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

There were discussions in 2012 for a big Cowboys Stadium pay-per-view, headlined by a junior welterweight clash between Marquez and IBF champion Lamont Peterson. The event fell apart when Peterson rejected Top Rank's final offer to face Marquez and instead accepted a rematch with Amir Khan [which never happened due to Peterson failing a drug test]. Marquez instead fought in Mexico and decisioned Sergey Fedchenko.

As BoxingScene previously reported on Friday, Marquez has yet to make a final decision on his future. Marquez, 39, will either announce his retirement or continue to fight - with a fifth clash against Manny Pacquiao (54-5-2, 38KOs) being discussed for a tentative date of September 14th, says Beltran.

Both boxers are being lined up for April dates - April 13 or April 20 - and Beltran stated that Jessie Vargas (21-0, 9KOs) and Vyacheslav Senchenko (33-1, 22KOs) are the two potential opponents being presented to both Marquez and Pacquiao.

Beltran believes Pacquiao will likely end up on April 13, with Marquez taking a fight on the same date in a different location or moving forward a week later on April 20th.

"Marquez has not made any decision yet [regarding his career]. But my projection is that if Pacquiao has a fight for April in Singapore, let him do that. I believe that for Márquez it is important to fight and make history at the same time - and I would like for him to do it at Cowboys Stadium," Beltran said.
