Former WBC cruiserweight champion and current heavyweight contender, Tony Bellew, would like to see IBF, IBO, WBA heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs) fight his British nemesis, Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs).

On Saturday night, Joshua retained his belts with a tenth round stoppage of Carlos Takam in Cardiff, Wales.

Fury has been out of the ring since November 2015, and he is still without a license to box until he clears up a claim from drug testing agency UKAD, who claim the boxer tested positive for a banned substance in early 2015.

Regarding a unification with WBC champion Deontay Wilder, Bellew doubts Joshua will face him next.

Bellew believes Wilder is still not a very big name and needs to make the right moves to build up his name. Wilder is back this coming Saturday night, when he takes on mandatory challenger Bermane Stiverne in a rematch from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Should Wilder win in style, the demand for a Joshua unification will only increase.

"If I had to pick one fighter out there I would like to see him in with, it's Tyson Fury. I don't care what people think, that is the one fight that makes sense. Tyson went to Germany and did what he did. There's only one person who you'd want to ask what will happen and that is Klitschko, I'm sure he would say it will be a great fight," Bellew told Sky Sports.

"Out of all the others, Wilder is frightening, but he needs some hype around him, never mind a fight with Joshua, so that won't happen next. I rate Pulev, I really do and was looking forward to that but that won't happen again, but to be honest, it doesn't matter who 'AJ' fights. He will beat them, he will deliver and we will all be watching."
