In the opinion of WBC cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew (28-2-1, 18 KOs), his upcoming opponent David Haye (28-2, 26 KOs) is basically friendless.

Bellew is moving up to the heavyweight division to fight Haye on March 4th at the O2 Arena in London, with Sky Sports Box Office carrying the event.

The two boxers dislike each other and things are getting more personal by the week. Even during their kickoff press conference a few weeks ago, a physical confrontation quickly broke out when they came face to face for the cameras.

Over the last few years, Haye has made numerous changes to his team. The biggest was parting ways with longtime coach Adam Booth. Even Bellew's head trainer, David Coldwell, was at one-time a close member of Haye's team. During the pre-fight promotion, Haye took several shots at Coldwell.

Haye is currently being trained by Shane McGuigan, who is best known for his work with two-division world champion Carl Frampton, who returns this coming Saturday in Las Vegas against Leo Santa Cruz.

Bellew believes Booth was the last "real friend' in Haye's career and everyone else around are nothing more than acquaintances.

"I don't think he owns a friend, I don't think he's got a friend on this planet," Bellew exclusively told Sky Sports. "He's got acquaintances and celebrity mates that he goes partying and drinking with, but does he have a true friend? I don't think he does. The last person that he could have called a friend, he left him and blamed him for the demise of his career. That was Adam Booth."
