Barros vs Caballero Clash is Inked For June in Argentina

On Wednesday at the Hotel Intercontinental Miramar in Panama City, Panama, promoter Osvaldo "Black" Rivero of Argentina, who represents the interests of the "regular" world featherweight champion of the World Boxing Association (WBA ), Jonathan Barros (32-1, 18KOs), and the promoter Rogelio Espino of Panama, who leads the career of former champion and mandatory challenger. Celestino "Pelenchin" Caballero (34-3, 23KOs), finally signed a deal to match these two fighters for their long awaited bout in the month of June in Mendoza, Argentina.

NotiFight.com/BoxingScene.com witnessed the signing of this contract and the possible dates include June 17, 18, 24 and 25. TyC will televise the fight in Argentina and South America and RPC in Panam.

Espinosa said that once they have the exact date of the fight, Caballero and his team of 4 will travel to Argentina seven days before the fight.

it would be funny if barros beats caballero. when yuri faced him everyone was saying he was a bum just like they were saying about salido

i remember barros from when he fought yuri ... glad to see caballero get back into the mix. hope he can win impressively and make 126/30 that much better
