Badou Jack is Hoping To Get a Title Shot in 2013
By Ryan Burton
Super middleweight prospect Badou Jack (11-0) can't wait to get back in the ring on Saturday. Jack's last fight took place last May when he had a less than stellar split decision victory over Alexander Brand on ShoBox. Jack told Boxingscene that all of his skills will be on display on Saturday at the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
"I'm planning on making a big statement and show all the fans that 'The Ripper' is back hungrier than ever. The fans are going to see a very exciting fight for as long as it lasts. I'm in great shape and can't wait to show my skills."
Badou, who has been sparring with light heavyweight champion Chad Dawson, said that after this fight he will be ready to face anyone in the division and hopes to get a title shot soon.
"I'm ready for whoever they put it front of me. I've sparred a lot with Chad Dawson for this fight so I'm more than ready for February 2nd. After this I will be ready to fight for the title," the 29-year-old stated.
