BoxingScene.com has been advised that Farah Ennis (21-1) is the leading candidate to face Badou Jack (14-0) on the Ishe Smith-Carlos Molina Showtime televised tripleheader although no contracts have been signed. Earlier today BoxingScene.com reported that Mickey Bey will face John Molina Jr. as the co-featured fight.
Ennis last fought on June 7th when he defeated Anthony Hanshaw via unanimous decision on ESPN Friday Night Fights. Jack is 3-0 this year and stopped Michael Gbenga in his most recent fight on the undercard of the Floyd Mayweather-Robert Guerrero mega-fight.
