Badou Jack Back on 2/2 in Vegas, Sparring With Dawson
By Per Ake Persson
Las Vegas based Swede Badou Jack, 11-0, will return to action on February 2 at the Cosmopolitan Casino after a brief layoff while sorting out a contractual dispute. Jack was last seen in May winning a split decision over Alexander Brand.
Jack is still trained by Eddie Mustafa Muhammad and among his sparring partners is now WBC light heavyweight champion "Bad" Chad Dawson. The opponent for next Saturday is still an open question but Badou believes it will be Julio Garcia, 6-3.
"They can get me whoever they want. I´m ready for anyone and have two months of hard training and great sparring behind me," says Jack.
Badou will continue to campaign at super middleweight.
