One of the featured bouts on this weekend's Top Rank pay-per-view card that is headlined by Manny Pacquiao's challenge of WBO welterweight titlist, Jessie Vargas, is Nonito Donaire's defense of his WBO 122-pound belt against unbeaten mandatory challenger Jessie Magdaleno.

'The Filipino Flash' has made it clear that should he come out victorious that he would like to face the winner of the January 28th rematch between WBA featherweight belt-holder Carl Frampton and former beltholder Leo Santa Cruz. Back in July Frampton won the title with a close decision over Santa Cruz at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Both Frampton and Santa Cruz are associated with Premier Boxing Champions and adviser/manager Al Haymon. In the past that might have been a problem but Top Rank and Haymon are now very open to working together and recently came to an agreement on a fight between Terence Crawford and John Molina.

The founder of Top Rank, Bob Arum, told BoxingScene.com that in regards to a possible match-up between Donaire and the winner of Frampton vs. Santa Cruz:

"I don't think Al Haymon would be a problem, I don't know how Frampton and Santa Cruz but certainly there wouldn't be any impediment on our side with Haymon or without Haymon as far as we're concerned," Arum said.

"There is that possibility of doing business with each other."
