Arum May Speak To Golden Boy About Marquez Foes

By CARLOS ARIAS

INGLEWOOD, CALIF. --- The fight Top Rank CEO Bob Arum wants to make next is obviously a fifth fight between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez, who pulled out a unanimous decision over Mike Alvarado on Saturday night at The Forum.

Marquez isn't exactly thrilled with the idea of a fifth fight against Pacquiao. Now, that Arum and Oscar De La Hoya have ended their cold war it could open some possibilities for some other fights that could become available for Marquez.

"It depends on how the Golden Boy thing shakes out," Arum said. "Who will have these fighters? Will it be Golden Boy or will it be the other guys? If it's Golden Boy and it's Oscar's-run company, why not? But there certainly isn't the kind of money (if it's not against Pacquiao)."

Porter cant happen until late fall more likely during the winter, and it wouldn't make sense to do if he somehow lost to Kell Brook which is unlikely. He can't fight the Haymon guys so many of the 147 'names'…

Marquez vs Maidana would be a seller! Would he care to face Provo? How about Shawn Porter? Provo and Shawn were sparring partners of Pacquiao.
