Top Rank CEO Bob Arum expects a large crowd of boxing fans to invade the Las Vegas strip for the Terence Crawford-Viktor Postol unification bout that takes place on July 23rd at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The fight wil be distributed by HBO pay-per-view.

The arena can accommodate over 16,000 fans for boxing matches depending on how it is configured.  For this fight, which will be both fighters first time headlining in Sin City, only the lower bowl will be used and Arum expects just about every seat to be filled.

"We set the thing up for 9,000 and I think we will have it sold out or nearly sold out by fight night. Tickets are moving very well," said Arum.

As for how many fans will be making the trek from Crawford's hometown of Omaha, Nebraska, Arum couldn't pinpoint a number but expects a sizable Cornhusker contingent to be in the building.

"I think between two and three thousand. It's hard to say exactly because you don't know exactly where the ticket buying is coming from but anecdotally it seems like two-three thousand will be achieved from Omaha and the Omaha area," Arum told BoxingScene.com.
