According to promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank, a deal for a May 2nd mega-fight is only missing once piece of the puzzle - the approval of Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Arum, who promotes Pacquiao, advised Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports that his boxer has agreed to terms, and so have the representatives negotiating on behalf of Mayweather, and the only thing missing was Mayweather signing off on the deal.

Iole did make it clear that nobody from Mayweather's side was able to verify the current standing of the negotiations. Multiple outlets have reported that several terms were agreed up a few days ago, including a 60-40 split in favor of Mayweather and using the MGM Grand as a venue.

Both networks, HBO (who have Pacquiao) and Showtime (who have Mayweather), are reportedly going to be involved. Promoters have been trying to finalize Mayweather-Pacquiao since 2009.

"I want to get some movement here, with bringing Mayweather to the table so we can go out and get everything signed and get the networks together and get the thing finished," Arum told Yahoo Sports Tuesday.

"I'm not trying to force anybody's hand, I'm just saying, 'Hey, we've agreed to everything, period. The people we have talked to on Mayweather's side have agreed to everything. Now we need Mayweather to step up and say, 'Yeah, I'm on board. I agree.'

"I'm not going to put a deadline on there. I'm just going to hope that everybody does the right thing and we get this concluded. It would be really sad if we went through this stuff again like we did before."
