Former two-division world champion Timothy Bradley (31-1, 12KOs) makes his return to the ring on Saturday night at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas against Argentine, Diego Chaves (23-2, 19KOs) as the headliner on HBO. Earlier in the year, 'Desert Storm' was defeated in his rematch with Manny Pacquiao. For Bradley, this is an opportunity to get back to his winning ways before embarking on a big 2015.
"I'd like to move him in some significant fights, maybe a rematch with (Juan Manuel)Marquez, that would be a significant fight," said the chairman of Top Rank, to BoxingScene.com on Monday afternoon."I think Tim is looking for fights - and he'll fight anybody - that can provide him with the greatest remuneration."
What's also a possibility down the line is for Bradley to face the winner of the rubbermatch between Brandon Rios and Mike Alvarado, who face each other on January 24th near Denver, Colorado.
Regardless, Bradley will have options, since his controversial 'victory' over Pacquiao in 2012 - where he became a boxing pariah - the native of Cathedral City, California has gotten back into the good graces of the boxing public with his back-and-forth slugfest versus Ruslan Provodnikov and a decision victory over Marquez.
"Absolutely," agreed Arum, "it was sort of silly for anybody to blame him for being the beneficiary of an unpopular decision. It wasn't his fault."
