Despite multiple reports in the UK of a possible welterweight unification bout between Tim Bradley and Kell Brook - it's news to Bradley's promoter, Bob Arum.

When asked if there was any truth to such talk, the head of Top Rank told BoxingScene.com,"No, not at all. Nobody has talked to us about it."

So is Brook just making stuff up?

"Yeah, the English always do," said Arum, who was rather surprised by all this. Right now, Bradley, coming off his dominant win versus Brandon Rios on November 7th is waiting for Manny Pacquiao to decide who he will fight in his supposed swan song.

"And then we'll determine what he wants to do."

Arum adds - "I'll be with Tim on Saturday, we're going up together to Fresno and I'll be talking with him. If there's no Manny Pacquiao, maybe he can face 'Canelo'."

Top Rank has a card in Fresno this Saturday night featuring lightweight prospect Jose Ramirez, who will be headlining the 'Solo Boxeo' telecast on UniMas.

But yeah, Bradley-Brook is news to Arum.

"The first I've heard of any of this is when you tell me. I don't know anything about discussing a Kell Brook fight. But you can't rely on anything that comes out of England. Those guys just talk and talk and talk," Arum stated.

When asked if that match-up would interest him, Arum answered bluntly - "No, there's no money in it. Nobody knows who Kell Brook is."
