Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum has big plans for WBO super bantamweight champion Wilfredo 'Papito' Vázquez Jr. (20-0-1, 17KOs). The undefeated Puerto Rican boxer recently signed a co-promotional agreement with Arum's company. Vazquez is co-promoted by Felix 'Tutico' Zabala of All Star Boxing. The first fight under Top Rank will happen on the Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley undercard on May 7 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Vazquez will defend his title against veteran and former champion Jorge Arce (56-6-2, 43KOs) of Mexico.

"That fight will be part of the card. It's another great fight, part of the boxing rivalry between the warriors of Puerto Rico and Mexico," Arum told Jose Sanchez. "It's a good fight and it's going to be part of the televised event. We have a long term contract and we are discussing various ideas with Felix."

Some of those ideas include a potential future fight with WBO/WBC bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire, a fight with IBF counterpart Steve Molitor and possible featherweight bouts with Juan Manuel Lopez and Yuriokris Gamboa. All of the boxers are promoted by Top Rank.
