Artur Szpilka's Return is Now Pushed Back To 2013

By Luke Furman

Polish heavyweight prospect Artur Szpilka (12-0, 9 KOs) had the cast removed from his injured hand, but after a consultation with his doctor a decision was made to delay his return. Originally, his return was being planned for the 8th of December, but he is likely not going to fight until next year.

"I'm just finished a meeting with the doctor, the hand is healing well but we're still waiting for my [full] rehabilitation, because the tendons are weak. So I do not expect to fight in December, but you will certainly see me in the ring after the new year," Szpilka said.
