Former WBA junior middleweight champion Yuri Foreman (28-2, 8 KOs) was hit with the second knockout loss his loss of his career, last Saturday night in Las Vegas. Polish boxer Paul Wolak (29-1, 19 KOs) made Foreman return a bitter one. He bruised Foreman for six rounds. Foreman's corner stopped the contest before the start of the seventh round.
Foreman is not sure about the future. He needs time to review the fight. The wrong strategy was presented that night. Foreman stood close and fought when he should have boxed.
"Right now I need to rest, relax a little, and then carefully consider and analyze everything. Everything I did was wrong and I didn't feeel it. Against this kind of an opponent, I should have boxed more instead of fighting with him. I prepared very hard for this fight, but I was missing something. Or maybe I just simply took too much time off," Foreman said.
