Wladimir Klitschko-Kubrat Pulev: A Look at The Judges

The three judges assigned to the Wladimir Klitschko vs Kubrat Pulev Unified World Heavyweight Title bout in Hamburg, Germany are Glenn Feldman from Connecticut, Joe Pasquale  from New Jersey, and Jerry Jakubco from Illinois.

According to the Pod Index , Feldman is in the majority in 87.2% of rounds scored in difficult fights. Pasquale agrees with at least one fellow judge in 86.7% of rounds scored, while Jakubco is in the round majority 88.7% of the time.  As a point of reference, the world average for difficult fights is 86.1%.

In September in Mashantucket, Glenn Feldman contributed to a unanimous decision in favor of Thabiso Mchunu over Garrett Wilson. Scores were 99-90 , 96-93, and 98-91.

Last month Joe Pasquale scored a draw during the Heather Hardy majority decision win over Crystal Hoy in New York. Scores were 95-95 , 100-90, and 99-91.

Last year in Macao, Jerry Jakubco scored a comfortable victory for Evgeny Gradovich over Mauricio Javier Munoz.  Scores were 119-109 , 120-108, and119-109.
