All fighters are weighed in and set for the loaded fight card Friday evening in Moscow, Russia.

Alexander Povetkin and Mike Perez meet in a bout to determine the next mandatory challenger for WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder.

Povetkin (28-1, 20KOs) weighed in at 232.4 lbs., the heaviest of his career. Perez (21-1-1, 13KOs) tipped the scales at 240.5 lbs., slightly less than the 242.25 he weighed for his points loss to Bryant Jennings last summer, but still well above his normal fighting weight of 230–235 lbs.

Also on the show are a pair of cruiserweight bouts, both of which feature late replacements.

Grigory Drozd (39-1, 27KOs) was to make the first defense of his cruiserweight title versus the man from whom he wrested the crown last September. However, Krzysztof Wlodarczyk suffered an injury and was forced to withdraw. Poland's Lukasz Janik has instead answered the call for his first world title shot.

Both fighters made the cruiserweight limit; Drozd tipped the scales at 199.7 lbs., while Janik (28-2, 15KOs) weighed 199.9 lbs. The winner will be obligated to next defend versus Ilunga 'Junior' Makabu, who became the mandatory challenger following an 11th round knockout of Thabiso Mchunu last Saturday in South Africa.

In additional cruiserweight action, Rakhim Chakhkiev faces late replacement Junior Wright for the vacant IBO cruiserweight title. Chakhkiev (22-1, 17KOs) came in at a trim and ready 199.2 lbs. in search of his seventh straight win. Wright weighed 198 lbs.

Both legs of the fight come from opponent withdrawals. Wright (13-0-1, 11KOs) was due to face Micki Nielsen, who was forced to pull out of their scheduled May 2 clash due to injury. The unbeaten Chicagoland cruiserweight remained on the hunt for another fight when he elected to step in and meet Chakhkiev in place of Italy's Mirko Larghetti, whose reasons for being scratched from the card remain unclear.
