WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko has promised to knock out Britain's David Haye if the pair meet in March - and has spoken candidly about the need for political reform in Ukraine as he builds a second career as a politician. Klitschko is poised to meet Haye next year, despite the Londoner announcing his retirement after losing to Vitali's brother, Wladimir, in July.
With Haye vocal in his criticism of both Klitschko brothers in the build up to that fight - he promised to decapitate them - Vitali said there would be a personal element should their proposed contest in Germany take place.
"David, I will knock you out," was Klitschko's simple message to Haye, who is currently reading through a contract sent to him by Klitschko's management team. "If David Haye will agree to fight, it will be a good fight for everybody, for the boxing fans. It was a points decision against Wladimir, for my brother. I don't think David Haye can beat me. It is personal."
"It is not about sports skills. He is a good sportsman but he is best in the world at trash talking and he trashed my brother personally and me personally, and I want to give him the right answer in just the ring."
