IBO/WBO/WBA heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is planning to help IBF champion Charles Martin (23-0-1, 21KOs) as he prepares for his massive defense on April 9th against unbeaten Olympic gold medal winner Anthony Joshua (15-0, 15KOs).
The fight takes place at the O2 Arena in London, live on Sky Sports Box Office and on Showtime in the United States.
Fury was ringside in January, when Martin captured the vacant IBF belt with a third round TKO over Czar Glazkov at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Fury had the IBF belt around his waist, until the sanctioning body stripped him for failing to agree to a mandatory defense against Glazkov.
At the same time, Fury realizes that a Joshua victory would have a much bigger upside for him - with the two Brits colliding in a massive unification. That would also depend on Fury winning his upcoming rematch with Wladimir Klitschko. Fury won a twelve round decision over Klitschko last November in Germany to capture the heavyweight titles.
"They're having camp in Big Bear in California and I would fancy it," Fury told Sky Sports. "Then again, do I help out a guy who could potentially take £10m out of my hands - depending on how much I help him?
"But you know what, I am going to help the guy out. When he comes to London a couple of weeks before the fight, I am going to go down and see him and give him a couple of hints, show him a few moves. I am not going to spar him though because I could be fighting him next, once I've beaten Klitschko again."
