Mexico's Jesus Soto Karass is training very hard for his upcoming fight for the interim-welterweight crown of the World Boxing Association (WBA). Soto Karass will return on December 14 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas - when he faces undefeated fearsome puncher Keith "One Time" Thurman in a Showtime televised contest.
Soto Karass (28-8-3, 18 KOs) is coming off two resounding victories in 2013, against top fighters Selcuk Aydin and Andre Berto. He believes he has what it takes to take the undefeated Thurman (21-0, 19 KOs) out.
"It's an opportunity that I could not pass up. I know he is a good boxer and he's dangerous, but I am confident that I have what it takes to beat him. I will shock Thurman and anyone else who does not believe in me. My preparation is going well. I have not had any setbacks, and I'm in the prime of my career. No matter what some may believe, I will win this fight," Soto Karass concluded.
