The date of March 21, in Bulgaria, is the current scenario for the ring return of former two division world champion Ricardo Mayorga (31-8-1, 25KOs).
The 41-year-old boxer returned last September after more than three years of being away from the ring. He had a first round stoppage over journeyman Allen Medina in Oklahoma and then returned last month to stop Andrik Saralegui in five rounds in Nicaragua.
Mayorga wants to get a title shot at one of the top fighters, preferably for a world title, at middleweight or super middleweight. His last fight took place at the light heavyweight limit of 175-pounds. When he last fought more than three years ago, the bout took place at junior middleweight against Miguel Cotto.
