Last month, Julio Cesar "Pingo" Miranda dropped his WBO flyweight championship to Brian Viloria. Miranda has received the opportunity to reveng but it won't be easy. He plans to face countryman Giovani Segura (28-1-1, 24KO's) in a fight for the WBO's interim flyweight title. The fight is expected to take place in September or early October, with Mexico City as the likely location.
"I'm training in Mexico for my next fight, against Segura for the interim world championship. I'm focused on this fight, it's time to return in a big way. We must win this by any means necessary to get the rematch with Viloria," Miranda was quoted as saying by Ricardo Velazquez.
