The weights are in for Saturday's return of the International middleweight champion of the World Boxing Council (WBC), Jorge Sebastian "El Gauchito" Heiland - who faces Claudio "El Chino" Abalos. Heiland is also the highest rated middleweight in the WBC rankings and certainly in line for a world title shot.
The fight is going to take place at Club Rivadavia Necochea in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in a production of Argentina Boxing Promotion, and it will be broadcast live through TyCSports from 23 to Argentina and the Americas.
Ending ten months of inactivity and in the prime of his career, Heiland (25-4-2, 13 KOs), wants to take Abalos (29-13-3, 8 KOs) to war and make a statement to the other middleweights in the division.
Heiland weighed in at 158.5 Lbs, and seconds later Abalos made the division limit of 160 Lbs.
