Pascal-Kovalev: Jean vs. Lundy in Play For Card

By Luke Furman

An interesting fight is being discussed for the undercard of Sergey Kovalev vs. Jean Pascal, taking place on March 14th from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada.

According to TVA Sports, there is talk of a fight  between Dierry Jean (27-1, 19KOs) of Montreal and Philadelphia's Henry "Hank" Lundy (25-4-1, 12KOs). After losing to Lamont Peterson last January, Jean dropped down to lightweight to get knockout wins over Daniel Ruiz and Mario Perez.

Lundy has been jumping between lightweight and junior welterweight. He lost by split decision against Thomas Dulorme last December. He was scheduled to come back last month against Petr Petrov, but he was four pounds overweight - coming in at 139-pounds for a lightweight fight and the entire contest was canceled.

No word on the weight limit being discussed for the match.
