During a recent interview with ESPN Latino, veterain trainer Nacho Beristain picked WBA super bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux of Cuba to defeat WBO counterpart Nonito Donaire on Saturday night at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Nacho, who trains Juan Manuel Marquez and many other fighters, is giving the two-time Olympic gold medal winner the edge.
"I think Rigondeaux will win. He is a difficult fighter, experienced, knows how to use distance, and sometimes he's even dull," said Beristain. "Everyone is talking about Donaire's punch, but if Rigondeaux applies himself he will [overwhelm him]. (Rigondeaux) has it all, he can greatly complicate things and he is a very fighter with special qualities."
