The current World Boxing Council (WBC) silver world champion at flyweight (112 pounds), Panamanian Luis 'El Nica' Concepcion (28-3, 21KOs), could make his first defense at the end of July. The information was revealed by his attorney Roger Espiño. Concepcion has won five wins in a row since the first round TKO defeat to Tyson Marquez of Mexico.
"Nothing is official yet, but we're working on having 'El Nica' Concepcion defend his silver title in late July," said Espiño.
