The WBC and Timothy Bradley are happy to announce that all misunderstandings and miscommunications from the past have been cleared.
Timothy has been closely associated to the WBC for many years. He won the WBC Youth title, won the WBC green and gold belt and has been present in several WBC Annual Conventions in Spain, China, and always being very active in WBC Cares events, visiting children’s hospitals and representing the WBC as exemplary ambassador of our organization.
“I have always respected the WBC and it holds a very special place in my heart. I am very happy to have cleared up the unfortunate misunderstandings and I am looking forward to fighting Devon Alexander on January 29”.
The WBC President, Jose Sulaiman, is very happy with this situation.
“Timothy became the WBC Youth Champion in 2005 and a WBC World Champion in 2008. He is a very impressive young man and I was very touched when he received his championship belt in Mexico and he embraced his father in tears.
I am personally very happy that everything is cleared and we look forward to the great event on January 29.
WBC Champion Devon Alexander will fight WBO Champion Timothy Bradley in a World unification bout, which promises to be one of the greatest fights in recent years”.
